The staff at PROJECT in a box are experienced software developers and project managers who identified the real need for easy to adopt PRINCE2™ implementation tools from the personal experience of returning from training to implement the methodology in their own workplaces.
Launched early in 2005, PROJECT in a box is already well established with users worldwide. The Community Edition is currently used by over 10,000 project managers in over 45 countries making it the most successful personal PRINCE2™ tool available. Users come from diverse organisations across industry, central and local government. The user base is heavily concentrated in the UK with sizable pockets in the Netherlands, Belgium and Australia, many other countries have registered users including the USA which is beginning to adopt PROJECT in a box in increasing numbers.
PROJECT in a box are well connected to the Project Management community as PRINCE2™ practitioners, ICEB, PUG and APM members and include a previous winner of a national APM award. They have an established relationship with OGC and are the only software provider licensed by HMSO to use official PRINCE2™ material within their product to further lower the barriers users might face in adopting the software.
Their objective is to provide easy to use tools to support the implementation of the PRINCE2™ methodology. Because they understand the pressure of the corporate environment they also provide a professional support regime to ensure that any problems which might occur can be quickly resolved.
