PMFinder.com is owned, operated and made available by PMFinder Ltd ("PMFinder").  PMFinder Ltd is registered in England & Wales (06011146).

If you do not accept the terms and conditions stated here, you must not use this web site and service.  By using this site you indicate your acceptance to be bound by the terms of these terms and conditions.  PMFinder may occasionally revise these terms and conditions, this will be done by updating this page.  We fully recommend that you visit this page periodically to review the terms and conditions for any changes.

All web site content is the exclusive property of PMFinder or its content suppliers/clients and is therefore protected by copyright law.  You may not sell or modify the web site content.  You may not distribute, display reproduce, perform publicly, or otherwise use any of the web site content in any way and for any public or other commercial purpose.  Use of the PMFinder web site content on any other website or in any other networked environment and for any purpose is strictly prohibited.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of information and their password and as such are responsible for all uses of the account whether or not authorised by you.  You agree to immediately notify PMFinder of any unauthorised use of the registration or password.

User authentication on the Internet if difficult, PMFinder cannot and does not confirm that each user is who the claim to be.  Because we do not and cannot be involved in user-to-user dealings or control the behaviour of participants on any PMFinder site, in the event that you have a dispute with one of more users, you release PMFinder (and our agents and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual) and consequential, direct and indirect) of every kind and nature known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

Site users are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of this site this includes (and without limitation) accessing or trying to access data not intended for the user or logging into any account to which the user does not have authority to access.

PMFinder.com may only be used for lawful purposes and by individuals seeking employment or employers seeking employees. The PMFinder site is only a venue and acts as such for candidates to post CV's.  PMFinder prohibits use of the site, and users agree not to use, or allow any party under their control to use the web site for any of the following reasons:

  • Posting incomplete, inaccurate or false biographical data or that which is not your own accurate CV (defined as a living individual seeking employment on either a full time or part time basis and on his/her own behalf).
  • Using the PMFinder database for any other purpose than as an employer seeking employees for actual live jobs including, but not limited to, utilising the data held on the database to promote or sell products or services, to source individuals to join a pyramid scheme, distributorship, franchise, club membership, or sales representative, agency arrangement or any other business opportunity that requires any upfront or occasional payment, pays commissions only (no significant salary), or requires the employment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents.
  • Sending unsolicited mail (including electronic mail; e-mail), making unsolicited telephone calls or sending unsolicited faxes regarding promotions and/or advertising products or services to a user of the PMFinder site.
  • Disclosing to or sharing your password with any third parties or using your password for any unauthorised purposes.

As a user, you are responsible for your own communications and are responsible for the consequences of their posting. You must not, and by using the PMFinder site agree not to do the following things:

  • Post links to websites within the body of your CV. In order to keep PMFinder free to use for project staff, contact by potential employers needs to be made through the employers control panel. Any links found will therefore be removed.
  • Post material that is copyrighted unless you are the copyright owner or have the permission of the copyright owner to post it.
  • Post material that reveals trade secrets unless you own them or have the permission of the owner.
  • Post material that infringes on any other intellectual property rights or on the privacy or publicity rights of others.
  • Post material that is obscene, offensive, vulgar, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, racist, sexist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or embarrassing, or which may cause annoyance, anxiety, or inconvenience to another user or any other person or entity.
  • Post advertisements or solicitations of business.
  • Post chain letters or pyramid schemes.
  • Impersonate another person.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any CV or material contained therein placed by you on the PMFinder site.

PMFinder neither represents nor guarantees the accuracy, reliability, or truthfulness of the communications posted by users or endorses any opinions expressed by users.  You fully acknowledge that any reliance on the material posted by users will be at your own risk.

PMFinder acts as a passive conduct for the online distribution and publication of user submitted data and has no obligation to screen communications or information in advance.  PMFinder is not responsible for the screening or monitoring of material posted by users. PMFinder is not involved in the actual transaction between employers and candidates.  As a result, PMFinder has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the CV's posted, the ability of employers to offer job opportunities or the ability of the candidates sourced through the site to fill job openings.  In addition, please note that there are risks including, but not limited to, the risk of physical harm, of dealing with strangers, foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretences.  You assume all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom you come in contact through the PMFinder site.  We expect that you will use caution and common sense when using the Web Site and/or the other PMFinder Sites.

Once notified of communications which allegedly do not conform to these terms and conditions, PMFinder may investigate the allegation and determine in good faith and its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal of the communication.  PMFinder has no liability or responsibility to users for performance or non-performance of such activities.  PMFinder reserves the right to expel users and prevent their further access to the website for violating the terms and conditions or the law and the right to remove communications which are abusive, illegal or disruptive.  PMFinder may take any action with respect to user submitted information that it deems necessary or appropriate in its sole discretion if it believes it may create liability for PMFinder or may cause PMFinder to lose in whole or in part the services of its ISP or other suppliers.

PMFinder does not warrant that the Web Site will operate error-free or that the Web Site and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms.  If your use of any PMFinder site or the Web Site content results in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or date, PMFinder is not responsible for those costs.  The PMFinder sites and web site content are provided on an "As is" basis without any warranties of any kind.  PMFinder makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the material, web site content, services, software, text, graphics and links.  The Web Site contents may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. The use of the Web Site and the Web Site content is at your own risk.  Changes are periodically made to the PMFinder site and may be made at any time.

The Web Site contains links to third party web sites.  These links are provided solely as a convenience.  PMFinder is not responsible for the content of linked third-party sites and does not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of materials on such third part web sites.  If you decide to access linked third party web sites, you do so at your own risk.

To the extent permitted by Law, in no event shall PMFinder, or its suppliers be liable for and damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, loss of business or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption) resulting from the use or inability to use any PMFinder site and the Web Site content.

To the extent permitted by Law, the Company's maximum liability arising out of or in connection with any PMFinder site or your use of the web site content, regardless of the cause of action (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise), will not exceed £100.

PMFinder reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal remedies, including but not limited to deletion of your postings from this Web Site and other PMFinder sites and/or immediate termination of your registration with or ability to access the Web Site and other PMFinder sites and/or other service provided to you by PMFinder, upon any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or the terms and conditions of any PMFinder site or if PMFinder is unable to verify or authenticate any information you submit to the Web Site registration of other PMFinder Site registration.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PMFinder, its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, actions or demands including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from (i) any material you provide to a PMFinder Site, (ii) any Web Site content that you use or (iii) your breach of the terms of these Terms and Conditions. PMFinder shall provide notice to you promptly of any such claim, suit or proceeding and shall assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claims, suit or proceeding.

PMFinder makes no claims that the Web Site content may be lawfully viewed or downloaded outside of the United Kingdom.  Access to the Web Site content may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries.  If you access the Web Site from outside of the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.  These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.  Jurisdiction for any claims arising under this agreement shall lie exclusively with the English Courts.

PMFinder adheres to the Data Protection act and employs reasonable measures to help ensure that your data is held safely and securely.  The PMFinder site is accessible by visitors from countries around the world.

In accordance with the data protection act PMFinder holds personal data only for as long as necessary.  As a registered user of the site, you have full control over your data (CV).  However, if a user does not sign into the site for a period of 18 months, the information will be deemed obsolete and be automatically and permanently removed from the site.

Any information identified as obsolete by our retention policy will be physically removed from the database.  If you would like your information removed prior to this, please contact the data controller at data-protection@pmfinder.com
